Surveying Ski Resorts
Since 2015 we have gathered a great deal of experience in the surveying of ski slopes and project areas for a variety of related construction plans. We have already synchronised our work with all the relevant ski management systems, are aware of their various requirements, and thus can guarantee a smooth transfer of our data into such systems!
Our new sensor has opened a whole host of new possibilities for planning new infrastructure and pistes below the treeline (for more information, see our “Laser Scanning” section)
Professionals such as environmental engineers and scientific researchers are increasingly turning to drones in place of either slower terrestrial surveying equipment, lower-resolution satellite imagery and expensive, or sometimes unavailable, manned aircraft services.
Construction & Buildings
Traditional building and roof inspections are risky and expensive, workers use scale ladders, scaffolding equipment, walk on ledges or weak roofs. In attition they're not as accurate and usually it take hours to identify problems.
UAVs instead are safer, quicker and more accurate hence more efficient in identifying damages, leaks, cracks and other signs of structural failure.
UAVs can help an organization reduce inspection costs, time and safety risks for the workers, building owners, and occupants.
For example, it is possible to reduce three-week inspection process that a traditional inspection takes to only a few hours.
In addition, the savings on the manpower, equipment and time can run into several thousand dollars for big organizations per building inspections. In addition, with our competence in geospatial analysis we can provide a georeferenced representations of the entire structures in GIS format with the possibility of easily identifying coordinates and distance measurements, as well as displaying temperature measurements
Roads, Viaducts and Bridges
Today, UAVs are rapidly changing data collection & monitoring across multiple vertical infrastructural sectors. When it comes to elevated, hard to reach viaduct or bridges, UAVs are the new technological frontier for inspection.
A traditional bridge inspection would encompass the usage of either aerial platform, under-bridge inspection vehicle, ladders or rope access, and in some cases also the closure of lanes of traffic, with evident disservice for commuters, while associated cost and danger remains a challenge.
Combining our deep expertise in geospatial analysis and the latest in sensors tecnology we can reconstruct the tridimensional model of your infrastructure with the highest grade of precision, to serve as a planning and management tool, and a base reference for our visual inspections.
Power Lines and Sub Stations
UAVs are a safe, technically viable and cost-effective method for inspecting power lines and sub-stations, that’s why the utility sector has a fast-growing interest in drone technology.
It enables us to collect reliable data to identify worn or damaged equipment, as well as to mitigate risks in power distribution or to plan network maintenance. Besides, drones dramatically improve safety, while reducing costs as they eliminate the need to deploy highly skilled linemen and expensive equipment onsite.
Marine
The Marine industry has fully embraced the safety improvements that UAV have brought, enhancing overall efficiency.
The usage of a UAV to conduct inspections on vessels, bulk carriers, tankers, Floating production facilities or any other marine related asset, makes it faster and easier, and the time & money savings is just impressive.Reaction time is also of paramount importance in this context. UAV can easily fly to hard-to-reach and Hazardous areas to identify a potential defect, which could be promptly fixed while at sea allowing an extra time & money saving.
We are capable to assess structural conditions of any marine asset, by conducting aerial visual & thermal inspection for corrosion, deterioration, deformation, leakages, fracture or damages of any nature.
